About the Dekes Charitable Foundation, Incorporated…

Dekes Charitable Foundation, Incorporated, a 501c3 tax deductible corporation is the result of three Alum (Greg Koski b1138, Mike Marquis b1248, & Andy Sutherland b1397) meeting over several  beers and taking notes on napkins in the fall of 2012.   Their common goal of wanting to keep the Delta Kappa Phi mission alive quickly became evident.

Not surprisingly, despite the lack of an organized Alumni, various individuals were taking sections of the common goal upon themselves via individual projects.  To assist the active fraternity, to provide advice and ultimately to provide fund raising for housing needs and scholarship help were all things the three quickly agreed upon as a shared vision.

The end result is our effort to strengthen DK’s Alumni community via events, communication and networking while provide a permanent process for tax deductible donations.  This website, funded through your donations and operated by volunteers is designed to bring our diverse and nationwide Alumni together in one place to work towards these goals.
